E-Textbooks on the Rise


You would think that students, the market of people who seem to use books the most, would have been the main market for electronic books. The bulky textbook has been winning the technological battle of change but E-textbooks are now on the rise.

Both Pearson and McGraw-Hill Publishers have invested in Inkling, a company that makes interactive textbooks available on the iPad, according to NY Times writer, Kopytoff. Apparently, Inkling plans to have almost 100 textbooks available by fall. Find out more from the New York Times here.
