The Mark Zuckerberg Comic Book

If there can be a graphic novel based on Lady Gaga, I guess there can be a comic book based on Mark Zuckerberg. He may be fondly remembered as the stuck-up jerk from the movie, Social Network, but is best known as the creator of Facebook and the youngest self-made billionnaire in the world.  Zuckerberg's comic promises to be "not only good reading to get to know the subjects but... used as a tool in schools and libraries." The literary work called "Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook" is a 48 page biographical comic book and is set to be published by BlueWater Productions in December.

If this book is indeed accurately biographical, perhaps it is a good thing. There can't be too many ways for young people to read on, learn about and be inspired by successful entrepreneurs.

  1. I wonder what his involvement, if any at all, was in this project. Based on his response to the movie loosely based on him, I'm curious to see how he would respond if he wasn't involved in the development of this comic book.

  3. Hahaha. Hey Nicki. You might be right. However, maybe it's good that these biographies are now in comic form. Children should respond to them better don't you think? I dunno. Is it something you'd get for your kids or would you rather give them the Ben Carson book to read?

  4. Hi Janelle. Reporters highlighted that they expects it to be more favourable. Perhaps that indicated more involvement so maybe that indicated some involvement or perhaps something in a contract. He probably wouldn't make the mistake of not being involved again. In the movie though, he came across as stuck-up but not necessarily a villain... just a cut-throat business-man/kid/person.

  5. You're right that the comic book would be more appealing to the youth, I would get my kids a comic version as for their age group it would be more fun and interesting. Also you can always learn something from biographies, so in a sense it's not a bad idea. I say good luck to the 26 year old billionair, hope many will find this as interesting as the movie.
