The sale numbers for Lauren Conrad's books must be pretty good if HarperCollins has signed a new 3-book deal with the young television personality (best known for starring on MTV's hit series, The Hills) and fashion designer. Interested in reading her stuff? You can find her book, L.A. Candy, on
Amazon.com for as little as US $1.49. I'm not saying that the low prices reflect the quality of her book or anything. Perhaps the fairly low resale prices made the book even more popular and accessible, resulting in more people buying and reading her novels.
After the
Mark Zuckerberg post, a few people messaged me saying that celebrities just do whatever they want and don't work hard. Well, some of those celebrities are just really smart business-people.
