Paragraph, for Serious Writers

Are you that writer who always ends up spending more time watching your roommate's loud television or cleaning up after the baby than writing your book or magazine articles? Do you crave safe peace and quiet and desire to meet like-minded people who are serious about writing too? If you are in the New York area, Paragraph may be for you.

Founded by Lila Cecil and Joy Parisi, Paragraph is a workspace for writers that can be found on 14th street between 5th and 6th Avenues by Union Square, New York, USA. Lila was kind enough to answer a few of Book Blogette's questions. "We came up with the idea in Graduate School." Lila says. Lila and Joy were inspired by other writer spaces like Brooklyn Writers Space  but then tweaked it to make it their own. "We have many successful writers. We have agent roundtables in which agents come regularly to speak." says the co-founder. See pictures of the space below and visit their website at www.paragraphNY.com.
